I finally have a complete schedule
After a week of navigating the strangely non-computer-driven British educational scheduling system, I finally have a concrete schedule for the semester. Here goes:
Monday: British Political Systems Lecture 10-11, Cinema and Society: the US in World War 2 Lecture and Film Screening 11-2, British Political Systems Seminar 2-3.
Tuesday: Literature in Time: Texts and Contexts from the Eighth to the Sixteenth Century Lecture 10-11, Literature in Time Seminar 11-12, Cinema and Society Seminar 12-1.
Wednesday: No Class!
Thursday: Disraeli, Democracy, and Empire Lecture 2-3, Disraeli Seminar 3-4.
Friday: No Class!
So there it is, Monday and Tuesday are packed, and then the rest is pretty light. I’ve been up to quite a lot this week which I’ll probably post about later tonight or tomorrow, but as a little teaser, I saw a “gig” (concert) with local bands playing with some friends from these parts Wednesday night and went to a 400-year-old pub with Devin and Jason Thursday night. Good times were had by all.
