2 Weeks!
Hello all! In the coming months I plan to use this page to chronicle my time abroad in London (approximately 3000 miles east of America) and my travels throughout Europe. Up until now, I’ve never left North America, so here’s to hoping I don’t make a fool of myself. As for details, I’ll be living in a flat in Pooley House in the Westfield Student Village on the campus of Queen Mary College on the East End of London. Did that make sense? Pooley House looks like this:
Futuristic, yeah? Word is it was built out of copper to shield the village from the sound of passing trains. I have no idea how reliable this information is. I’ll be living there with a mix of British and international students, I hear, and hopefully acclimating to Britishness. As for the title of the blog, it is a reference to a sex pistols album and a nickname my good buddy Mark gave me freshman year (among many, many others). Anyways, that’s all I have for now. Leaving the US of A on September 13.
